What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. Without cookies our website cannot store information about the contents of your basket and therefore our website will appear to 'forget' the contents when you move from page to page. If this appears to be the problem then please follow the instructions below on how to set your internet browser to accept cookies.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7.0 At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Choose Tools
- Then Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- The default setting is medium, which will allow you to accept cookies. If it is not set to medium, click the button labelled 'Default' towards the middle right.
- Then click 'Apply', then 'ok' to close the box
If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Choose Tools
- Then Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- The default setting is medium, which will allow you to accept cookies. To change this setting, move the slider to determine which setting you prefer. If your setting has been set to Custom, click the Advanced button and choose Accept Cookies.
If you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Choose Tools
- Then Internet Options
- Click the Security tab
- Click Internet, then Custom Level
- Scroll down to Cookies and choose Enable.
If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Choose View
- Then Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab
- Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under security and choose the Enable Cookies option.
If you're using Firefox 1.x At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Click Tools
- Then Options
- Click on Privacy
- Then click Cookies
- Select 'Allow sites to set cookies'
If you're using Firefox 2.x At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Click Tools
- Then Options
- Click on Privacy (from the icons across the top of the box)
- Make sure 'Accept cookies from sites' checkbox is checked
- Then click ok to close the options box
If you're using Netscape Communicator 6.0 At the top of your browser on your task bar:
- Click Edit
- Then Preferences
- Click on Privacy and Security
- Then Cookies
- Select Enable.
