Echiomega is a vegetarian omega-3, -6 and -9 food supplement combining the benefits of stearidonic acid (SDA), gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and oleic acid, sourced from a unique triglyceride plant oil called Echium plantagineum.

Echiomega is a vegetarian formulation of omega fatty acids, which delivers superior health benefits over the commonly available vegetarian oil preparations. Containing the omega-3 fatty acid stearidonic acid (SDA) from the plant Echium plantagineum, it is naturally converted to the important long-chain omega-3 fatty acid EPA in the body, but up to five times more than other botanical omega-3 oils.

Echium seed oil also contains other beneficial fatty acids including the potent omega-6 gamma linolenic acid (GLA) as well as the omega-9 oleic acid, for which olive oil owes its health-supporting properties.

Ingredients:

Echium oil; capsule shell (modified starch, glycerine, carrageenan, disodium phosphate, lecithin).

Non-GM, free of gluten, corn, wheat, and lactose. Contains soya. Suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

Dosage Guide:

Adults and children above 10 years: Take between 2 and 4 capsules daily, not exceeding 10 in any 24-hour period.

Children between 2 and 10 years: Take 1 capsule daily, not exceeding 2 in any 24- hour period.

Echiomega should preferably be taken with food.

Contraindications:

It is not advisable to exceed the stated dose unless recommended by a doctor for a specific condition.
