• Lepicol also contains Fructo-oligosaccharides which have been shown to complement high fibre foods for healthy bowels by supporting intestinal healthy bacteria (probiotics).
• The third ingredient is Probiotic bacteria. It is now clearly recognised that long term health of the bowels can depend on keeping the levels of good bacteria in the bowels at a higher level than bad bacteria.

High fibre food for the support and maintenance of healthy bowels needs to be from none wheat sources and the best none wheat source of fibres are psyllium husks and Fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotics).

180 Vegicaps

4 Lepicol vegicaps are equal to 1 teaspoon of Lepicol powder.

Ingredients:

Psyllium Husk powder, Inulin, Probiotic cultures: Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacilus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus blugaricus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum

Lepicol Capsules are: Gluten free, wheat free, phytate free, free from preservatives, colours and flavourings. Contains traces of milk and soya at a level which would not affect lactose intolerance sufferers.

Directions for use:

Adults: Initially take 2 - 8 capsules, as required, twice daily 20-25 minutes before meals with 2 to 3 glasses of water or diluted fruit juice. Adjust the number of capsules according to requirements.

Children/Young Adults: Take 2 - 5 capsules twice daily 20-25 minutes before a meal with 1 full glass of water or diluted fruit juice. Adjust the number of capsules according to requirements.

If preferred, the capsules can be opened and the contents mixed with water or diluted fruit juice and consumed immediately. Alternatively use Lepicol in powder form.

Liquid intake: Aim for a minimum of 1 glass of water (250ml) for every 5 capsules of Lepicol.

All the Lepicol products have been approved by the Vegetarian Society except for the Lepicol Whole Psyllium Husk - 180 Gelatin Capsules. However with regards to vegan, each of our specific probiotic strains need various nutrition sources to aid their growth in culture. Cow`s milk is used in the fermentation (manufacturing) process, and although it goes through a filtration process a number of times there can still be very small traces of this in the product. There is no additional milk added to the product after this time. This is a standard process used by most fermentation companies throughout the world.
