Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that functions as a co-enzyme for proper nerve/muscle function, regulation of body temperature, energy metabolism, DNA/RNA synthesis and the formation of bones. The majority of the body’s magnesium is found in the bones.

Because magnesium is needed as a co-factor for several enzymes to help convert carbohydrates, protein, and fat into energy, magnesium supplements may play a role in supporting energy metabolism. Due to the role of magnesium in conducting nerve impulses, supplements have been promoted for support of heart function. Magnesium’s role in supporting and maintaining healthy bones stems from its primary location in bone tissue and its ability to help increase calcium absorption.

Because of the way the True Food products are made and absorbed in the body they do not have to be attached to a carrier. The body sees the True Food products as food which means there are many more opportunities (ie receptor sites) for absorption in the digestive tract than there are for regular supplements.

True Food nutrients also contain B vitamins, betaglucans, glutathione, choline, inositol, amino acids and other phytonutrients naturally found in fermented food cultures of Saccaharomyces cerevisiae (food yeast).

Ingredients:

Enzyme pre-digested magnesium bio-transformed with Saccharomyces cerevisiae (with soya), bulking agent: natural Lithothamnion calcarea; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: stearic acid*; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; flow agent: magnesium stearate*; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose coating, natural organic vanilla flavouring. *(Vegetarian source).

CONTAINS NO added sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, lactose, dairy products, artificial preservatives, colours or flavourings.

Dosage Guide:

Adults: Take 1-3 tablets a day, with or between meals, or as your health professional advises.

Children over 8 years: Take 1-2 tablets a day, with or between meals, or as your health professional advises.

A daily multi vitamin is also recommended.

Do not exceed recommended daily intake.

The True Food supplements are fermented in a special yeast culture, however once the fermentation process is complete the long chain proteins in the yeast culture are broken down and it is these that commonly cause problems such as allergies. Therefore the True Food Supplements can be tolerated by most people.

Each product in the True Food range goes through a unique fermentation process. This can result in them having a strong fermented smell. However, pleased be assured, this is perfectly normal and indicates the product will have optimum absorption.
