Potassium Ascorbate provides a readily available source of vitamin C and potassium. Potassium ascorbate occurs naturally in fruits and is also found in human breast milk. It is a non-citrus, low allergy form of vitamin C.

Features of Potassium Ascorbate:

• Potassium is required to help control body fluids and maintain the acid/alkaline balance in the body;
• Potassium has a role in protein synthesis, detoxification and helps the body remove metabolic waste;
• Potassium is an essential co-factor for many enzymes;
• Buffered, low acid form of vitamin C to reduce stomach irritation;
• A water-soluble form of vitamin C and potassium;
• Potassium ascorbate does not leach minerals such as calcium and magnesium from the body;

60 x 500mg Vegicaps

Vitamin C (as Potassium Ascorbate), Capsule (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose & Water), Bulking Agent (Cellulose), Anti-caking Agents (Silica & Vegetable Magnesium Stearate).

Take 1 vegicap daily with food or as professionally directed.

Do not use where there is a history of renal disease or with those advised to follow a low potassium diet.

May be contraindicated with aspirin. Do not exceed 1 gram if taking the contraceptive pill unless professionally directed.
