What is Bio-Methionine?

Methionine is an essential amino acid, the basic building blocks from which proteins in the body are constructed. Methionine cannot be produced in the body, and must be obtained from the diet or via supplementation; dietary sources include meat, fish, milk, cheese, peanuts and whole lentils. Significant losses of methionine may occur during food processing. Methionine supplementation of vegetarian diets may be appropriate in some cases.

What does Methionine do?

Methionine supports a normal metabolism and growth. In addition to helping maintain protein formation, methionine may support formation of:(i)antioxidants protecting the body against free radicals;(ii)chemical messengers responsible for normal brain function;(iii)cartilage components in joints. In addition, methionine promotes healthy liver function, including detoxification.

Ingredients:

Microcrystalline cellulose, Maltodextrin, Magnesium stearate, Silicon dioxide, Talc, Sodium carboxymethylcellulose, Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, Titanium dioxide

Dosage Guide:

1 tablet per day or as professionally directed.

Contraindications:

No known drug contra-indications But may rarely cause nausea or vomiting.

Should not be taken by those with manic depression or acidosis. Inform your Dr if you suffer from severe liver disease prior to use.
