This unique YES/NO food intolerance test is the quick way to determine whether or not your symptoms could be food related.
It does not provide a list of different foods, but gives you a positive or negative result. If negative, then you can rule out food as the problem. YorkTest Laboratories uses a two-stage process designed to test for food intolerances
The first stage is this tester kit, this simple pin-prick method is to obtain a sample of blood which can easily and safely be carried out at home. You then send this sample to YorkTest inside the pre-paid envelope for analysis.
The second stage, the blood sample is analysed by YorkTest Laboratories and tested against a mix of the most common food allergens. The test is carried out using the reliable ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbant Assay) technology, which offers a very high degree of accuracy and reproducibility.
If food intolerance is present, the immune system produces raised levels of antibodies in the blood. A positive result indicates that further testing is warranted.
