Quest Folic Acid provides 400mcg of folic acid, the recommended daily dose for pregnant women. In the developing foetus adequate folic acid is essential for the normal closure of the neural tube (precursor to the central nervous system). It is recommended that women take a folic acid supplement from when they stop using contraception untill the 12th week of pregnancy.

Ingredients

Contraindications

Large doses of folic acid may mask vitamin B12 deficiency.
