Description

Each Serrapeptase capsule contains 45mg of Serratia Peptidase Enzyme providing 90,000u of activity. This powerful enzyme helps support and maintain healthy fluid levels in the body, healthy joints, muscles and helps support and maintain cardiovascular health.

Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the non-pathogenic bacteria Serratia species. Serrapeptase has been used as a nutritional supplement in Europe and Asia for nearly three decades.

Serrapeptase may help to support and maintain muscle and joint health and promote normal inflammatory processes within the body. Serrapeptase may also help sustain and support cardiovascular health and proper arterial health.

Why a DR Capsule? (Delayed Release Capsule)

Your stomach acid can actually neutralise or even destroy Serrapeptase before it can be effectively absorbed in your intestine to begin to do its work. To prevent this, Enerex uses a specialised delayed release vegetable based capsule that only breaks down in the intestinal tract when a certain higher pH is achieved, ensuring that the entire enzyme is delivered unscathed to the small intestine for maximum absorption.

The entire capsule and and its contents are Guaranteed Pure: Contains no animal substances, artificial preservatives, colours or flavours, added starch, sugar, lactose, milk, salt, yeast, wheat or gluten and phthalate free.

Manufactured in accordance with International Good Manufacturing Practice.

This product is both vegan and vegetarian since the capsule, and its excipients are all vegetarian sourced. The enzyme cannot be classified as vegetarian or non vegetarian as enzymes are enzymes which are reproduced in laboratories and non synthetic. Enzymes are made from Amino Acids and are a class of proteins. Just like bacteria, they are not vegetables nor animals. They are in a class by themselves.

I had radiotherapy 10 years ago after a radical hysterectomy (I had cancer of the womb). 6 or so months later I was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis (I already had some osteoarthritis in my finger joints). I was put on prescription medication which made me feel that all my ''get up and go'' had got up and gone - not very encouraging I thought !
A friend of mine told me about Serrapeptase (maybe 12 months later).
I found it on Amazon, which is how I found Bodykind. Within days I noticed a difference. The stiffness and swelling gradually disappeared - some bits took longer than others but I am now back to being me again and can do all the things I used to be able to do !
I took the prescription medication for several months in tandem with the Serapeptase, but stopped after maybe 4 months and went with the Serrapeptase on its own. I can’t think why it is not available on prescription - I believe it is in certain parts of Europe

I used Serrapeptase for 1 month in November 2008 for a condition with the thumb on my right hand, which had been diagnosed as Trigger finger by my doctor. I gained this injury by intense drawing demonstrations at a well known department store in London in December 2007 and January 2008. I had to leave the job as my right thumb grew too stiff to use and I couldn’t even hold a pen to write. By March 08, it had ceased to move altogether! I went to my doctor and she said it would heal within 6 weeks. By September my thumb was in constant pain and permanently bent towards the palm. I insisted on Physio and in late September after 1 session, my thumb was straightened, but couldn't bend. I knew about Serrapeptase and decided to give it a go. In November I ordered 1 bottle of the Serrapeptase Rx - 90,000iu - 60 x 750mg Caplets. Within 3 weeks, I regained normal movement and as a piano player and artist, I am thrilled. I have no doubts that this enzyme did what my GP and Physio could not do, which was to heal. I am now going to order another bottle for another condition I have, Uterine Fibroids. I'll keep you posted when I have a scan later this year to see if this enzyme has any impact. Bye, take care. Think for yourselves and remember - doctors aren't Gods.
