Best Ubiquinol featuring Kaneka QH contains the reduced form of coenzyme Q10. Both ubiquinol (CoQ10-H2) and ubiquinone (CoQ10) are metabolically active, and are interchangeable in the body according to needs. Each form has antioxidant properties, supporting healthy heart functioning and supporting energy production.

Oral ubiquinol may offer improved bioavailability in individuals who have difficulty achieving high levels of this nutrient.

What is Co-Enzyme Q10?

Co-enzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance whose actions resemble those of vitamin E. It is fat-soluble and is stored in the fatty tissues of the body, reducing the need to ingest large quantities.

Since Co-enzyme Q10 is oil soluble it is best absorbed when taken with oily or fatty foods, such as fish. It plays a critical role in the production of energy in every cell of the body. It supports healthy circulation, the immune system and is a powerful antioxidant.

Co-Enzyme Q10 is an Antioxidant.

Co-enzyme Q10 also works as an antioxidant and may be more powerful than Vitamin E.

I fully endorse the reviews provided by Richard 17/02/2016 and also Sula Maye 31/05/2014. I would also make the following comments:- Every organ, muscle and mitochondria requires Ubbiquinol to provide optimal function. At age 20 your liver produces 100% of natural Ubiqinol, but production naturally reduces by between 9%-11% per decade, therefore on average say 10% at age 60, your body's production is reduced to 65% production. Result, ageing begins to develop, organs follow suit, it is at this point to ensure a continuing healthy life, Ubiquinol is an essential supplement to prevent muscle wastage and loss of under skin subcutaneous body fats. Ubiqiunol plus ATP inside the mitochondria metabolising digested foods into glucose, the body's fuel becomes less efficient. as does the heart muscle together with all organs. Further, those taking Simvastatin Type drugs that block cholesterol, will also suffer a 20%-30% blockage of Ubiquinol entering into the blood stream, as both liver products leave the liver from the same outlet. In some genetically extreme cases loss of Ubiqiunol can reach 40% thus creating very painful muscule arm and leg pain. This reaction has been extensively researched in the USA & Canada and in those countries, Ubiquinol 100mg -200mg is routinely prescribed by doctors as a curative measure. Also, simple heart failure due to heart muscle weakness, this is also treated in the same manner up to 400mg dosages. In simple terms, all body muscles and cells require Ubiquinol in order to maintain optimum strength and health. i have studied the subject intensively and considered nearly 2000 trials and investigations over the past 5 years and presently take 200mg morning and 100mg before bed and to my GP's amazement, am in excellent health at age 91.PS. My Grand Daughter In law has MS and has found Ubiquinol beneficial

Unfortunately my family bloodline has a history of high cholesterol. I''m an active 65 year old living a healthy lifestyle so there are no lifestyle reasons why I should have high cholesterol. I do not like taking any medication but my doctor suggested it would be prudent to take a low dose statin. However he advised me that statins deplete your body of coenzyme Q10 which is used for energy production by every cell in your body, and is therefore vital for good health. As I''m over 50 he strongly recommend taking ubiquinol instead of CoQ10, as it''s far more effectively absorbed by the body. I take 200mg per day. This special offer of 120 softgels for £89.95 by Bodykind is an absolute bargain...cheapest price for this product I have ever seen on the internet.

I have ME/CFS and previously tried COQ 10 but it had no effect on me, however after two weeks of Ubiquinol 200mg i began to feel a difference in the way my energy was functioning. And when I have dropped back to 1 capsule a day I start to notice a drop in energy within a few days and so although its expensive and i''m very poor I have upped the dose again. I have been taking it for about 4 weeks now and no I am not ''cured'' but I def feel my energy is the best it has been since I hit the wall and other symptoms are stabilising somewhat. I have done lots of work on my health in other areas, so this is part of the puzzle but def this stuff has effected me enough to pay the exorbitant cost!

In the last 4 years, I''ve taken Co-enzyme Q10 daily and have settled on the 200mg soft-gel as the best for me. It feeds the deficiencies in my ageing body, keeping me fit for action!
