BEE POLLEN SMOOTHIE
- 2 cups skim or soya milk;
- 1 tsp flaxseed or starflax oil (essential fatty acids);
- 1 - 2 tsp Manuka Honey ;
- 1 - 3 tsp Comvita Bee Pollen (vitamins and energy);
- 1 tbsp lecithin powder or granules (for lowering cholesterol);
- 1 banana (potassium);
- 1 tsp vanilla essence(optional);
- Into a blender put milk, oil, honey, Comvita Bee Pollen and vanilla - blend on low.
- Add lecithin, and banana. Blend until smooth;
- Enjoy as an energy boosting breakfast drink.
Different ideas: try replacing the milk with plain yogurt.
Add ½ tsp food yeast, 1 tbsp wheatgerm, or 1 tsp dolomite for extra goodness.
