Fructooligosaccharides (F.O.S.) when ingested, provide a specific food source for the growth of friendly intestinal bacteria.

F.O.S. encourages peristaltic motion, exerting a positive influence on bowel activity and evacuation. It is water dispersible and acts as a bulking agent in the bowel.

F.O.S. can be used as nutritional support in yeast free diets. Fructooligosaccharides may help maintain normal triglyceride levels and it does not elevate blood sugar.

Ingredients:

Fructooligosaccharides (Chicorium intybus Root).

Dosage Guide:

One tablespoon (approx 10g) sprinkled on cereal, fresh fruit or blended into yoghurt or fruit juice daily or as professionally directed.

NB. This product can initially cause wind and bloating.

Contraindication:

Not suitable to be taken in conjunction with drugs that are inhibited by pH lowering agents.
