Q.	Please tell me, is the light from these units the full spectrum, as in SAD lamps, or just an ordinary lamp?
A.	Sunrise alarm clocks such as the Lumie Bodyclock do not employ bright light therapy similar to SAD Lamps and are not measured in Lux. They instead employ light therapy in the form of a simulated sunrise to engage your natural circadian rhythms (your bodyclock), by synchronising these they help to alleviate the symptoms of SAD.

Q.	Does this clock come supplied with a bulb or do I have to buy one separately?
A.	Yes, this sunrise alarm clock is supplied with a bulb that is coated with a rare earth element, neodymium, this strips yellow light from the spectrum and provides a more daylight effect. There would be no need to buy one separately. We also stock replacement bulbs if and when they are required.

Q.	Does this clock come with a warranty?
A.	Yes. All of our sunrise alarm clocks come with a 2 year warranty as standard.

Q.	How does this product help in the treatment of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) ?
A.	Sunrise alarm clocks such as the Lumie Bodyclock employ light therapy in the form of a simulated sunrise to engage your natural circadian rhythms (your bodyclock), by synchronising these they help to alleviate the symptoms of SAD.

Q.	Once it has reached full brightness, does the light stay on until manually switched off?
A.	Yes, the light stays on until you turn it off. However, most people awake before it gets to full brightness at which point it can be turned off manually.

Q.	Does this model feature a radio?
A.	No, only the Lumie Bodyclock Classic features a FM radio.

Q.	Does this product run on batteries?
A.	No, all of our sunrise alarm clocks are mains operated, including this model.

Q.	If I select the light ONLY to wake me, how can I be sure to wake at the desired time without using the back up beeper?
A.	The beeper can be used as a back up until your body gets used to waking up to the natural light. This only usually takes a few days. However, if you are afraid of not waking up it may be a good idea to keep the back up beeper active just in case. Please note the back up beeper will not sound until the end of the sunrise, normally you would be awake by this time and able to disable the beeper before it sounds.

Q.	How often on average do you need to replace the lightbulb?
A.	It is difficult to say how long the bulb may last. They are ordinary tungsten bulbs and should last as long as any ordinary household bulb.

Q.	Does this clock make any sort of noise eg a tick or click when numbers change or an electric hum?
A.	No, this clock is silent in operation.

This light has loads of features, and its really easy to work them. I've tried all the features and give them top marks. I like my bedroom completely dark though, so the digital display is still too bright for me, even though its supposed to dim to a low level for sleeping. Covering up the display with blu-tac doesn't look brilliant, but it works. Its great being gradually woken up with light rather than noise.

Thought I was taking a bit of a chance buying just based on the idea of what it does, but after only a week I couldn't recommend it more. Sunset mode is great way to doze off. Waking up has never been easier.

We put this light on our wedding list a couple of years ago not thinking about it too much. I'm very glad to say that we're still very happily married and wake up feeling fantastic due to the simulated sunrise feature...we love it and can recommend it to evryone
