The three probiotic organisms in ThreeLac are known to be assertive toward some of the more common strains of yeast and fungi. Similar to, but not identical to acidophilus, bifidus and other friendly flora, ThreeLac organisms works well along with those, but do not replace the other friendly flora in their specific functions. These organisms are:

Bacillus Subtilis – A gram-positive, rod-shaped, endospore-forming, aerobic bacterium. It is found in soil and is non-pathogenic. The value of externally-supplied live bacteria for the maintenance of health in humans has been recognised both scientifically in published literature and commercially in the availability of probiotic products. It has been found to be harmless to humans or the environment.

Bacilus Coagulans – A gram-positive, endospore-forming, lactic-acid producing bacterium used in Japan for over twenty years. It represents a significant breakthrough in Lactobacillus supplementation as a safe, effective probiotic which needs no special handling and which survives in stomach acid. Bacillus Coagulans is considered semi-resident, meaning that it takes up only temporary residence in the human intestines.

Enterococcus Faecalis - Enterococci are gram-positive, spherical bacterium that colonize in groups or chains. This organism is naturally found (resident) as part of the digestive tract flora in intestines of mammals, including humans. In the healthy intestinal tract they take their place among hundreds of other friendly flora and function as part of the normal eco-system. Clinical studies have been performed on certain strains of Enterococcus Faecalis, showing them to be non-pathogenic. The ThreeLac manufacturer has given assurance that the Enterococcus Faecalis strain used in ThreeLac does not have the virulent properties of some other strains.

Dosage Guide:

Take one packet a day to start. Empty the packet contents into your mouth and follow with a few ounces of water, or add to a few ounces of water and drink. If additional support is desired, you may build gradually to a higher number of packets for the first 60 days. Amount needed may vary from person to person. Packets may be taken any time of day, with or without meals. After 60 days, you may reduce to a maintenance amount of 1 packet per day, as desired.

Discontinue use for 1 week after each 3 months of use.

Contraindication:

Do not take while taking antibiotics. Pregnant or nursing mothers, if under medical care, or if you have a suppressed immune system, consult your health practitioner prior to use.

Q.	How long do you need to take Threelac for?
A.	Unfortunately it is impossible to say how long you may have to take it. Following our dosage guide one box of 60 sachets should last 5 weeks, depending on the severity of your digestive problems this may or may not be enough. Q.	Why is there yeast in Threelac?
A.	The yeast contained within Threelac is inactive yeast and acts as a food source for the live bacteria contained within the product. As it is not live and active it will not worsen any yeast problems you may be encountering.
Q.	I have taken Threelac in the past but candida has returned after I stopped taking it. Can I take Threelac permanently to keep candida away? Or is there a limit to how long it should be taken?
A.	Threelac can be taken on a daily basis if required, many of our customers do reduce their intake to a maintenance dose of just one sachet per day to keep their intestinal flora at peak levels.

I discovered threelac purely by chance whilst searching for help to recover from glandular fever. I read an article from a girl who had the same problem as myself and found threelac to be a great help. I am normally pretty sceptical about alternative medicines, but had reached a stage where I would try anything to get my health back (I had been struggling for 9 years following 2 bad bouts of glandular fever). Within 2 months of taking threelac I regained my energy and felt better than I had in 9 years. I was able to start exercising again and lead a fairly normal life. Having suffered another bout of glandular fever last summer I have again been struggling to get back on my feet. I started taking threelac again about 4 weeks ago and already feel I'm getting my energy back. Threelac must have a positive effect on the immune system and I am in no doubt it was threelac that gave me my health back. I would recommend it to anyone.
