BioCare Iron EAP2 - 15mg Elemental Iron - 60 Vegicaps
Inorganic iron is frequently associated with stomach upsets. However complexing iron to EAP2 creates an organic iron compound that is well tolerated by people who are generally sensitive to iron supplementation.
Ethanolamine Phosphate ester (EAP2) is also referred to as vitamin M1. German physician Dr. Hans Nieper considers EAP2 as an important transporter of minerals in the body.
Features of Iron EAP2:
- Iron carries vital oxygen around the body as part of haemoglobin;
- Iron is a component of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismustase (S.O.D);
- Iron is needed for the metabolism of B vitamins and to support HCl (hydrochloric acid) production;
- Useful for individuals with malabsorption and poor iron status;
- Particularly suited to those individuals who are sensitive to inorganic iron supplementation.
Ingredients:
Bulking Agent (Cellulose), Iron Ethanolamine Phosphate, Capsule (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose & Water), Anti caking Agents (Silica & Vegetable Magnesium Stearate).
Dosage Guide:
Take 1 vegicap daily with food or as professionally directed.
Contraindication:
To be used when clinically required.
Not suitable for individuals with haemachromatosis - a common inherited disorder where iron absorption from the small intestine is not properly regulated.
