Oil of Oregano - Extra Strength - 30ml

Enerex's Extra Strength Oil of Oregano is wild crafted from chemical-free, pure, wild Mediterranean Oregano (Origanum vulgare). Wild oregano is an oil-rich plant. Enerex's Oil of Oregano contains a minimum of 70% carvacrol, an aromatic phenolic compound, found in plants such as oregano and savoury and is used in flavourings and fungicides.

The oil is obtained from the dried leaves and flowers of the herb by steam extraction using a special technology. It takes 1000 kg of the desiccated herb to produce 15 - 30 kg of the essential oil. The oil is then blended with organic, 1st pressing, extra virgin olive oil in the ratio of 40% oregano and 60% olive oil. This is necessary as pure Oil of Oregano is too harsh to consume orally.

Dosage Guide:

Internal:

Take 1 - 3 drops under the tongue (heat sensation will dissipate quickly) or taken mixed with water, juice, tea or honey.

External Use:

Apply a few drops on desired area and rub. Warming sensation is normal.

Antiseptic

Add a few drops to liquid soaps and shampoos to enhance their antimicrobial activity. Can also be added to cleaning cloths to wipe down kitchen and bathroom countertops.

Cooking

Add one or two drops to enhance the flavour of many foods.
