HCl And Pepsin combines HCl as betaine hydrochloride and pepsin to provide digestive support.

Pepsin hydrolyses all types of proteins, reducing them to polypeptides. HCl provides the optimal environment (around pH 2) for pepsin activity.

Adequate levels of HCl are required for the absorption of minerals such as iron, calcium and zinc.

Ingredients:

Betaine Hydrochloride, Potato Maltodextrin, Capsule (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose & Water), Bulking Agent (Cellulose), Anti-caking Agents (Vegetable Magnesium Stearate & Silica), Pepsin.

Dosage Guide:

Take 3 vegicaps daily, with food and a glass of water or to be taken as professionally directed.

NB. HCl & Pepsin capsules should not be opened or chewed.

Contraindication:

Not suitable for individuals with colitis, gastritis or ulcerative conditions of the stomach or colon.

Some individuals may suffer gastritis during pregnancy and should not take this product in this situation.
