Arnica can be used prior to and immediately after a demanding athletic event (e.g., a marathon). While weekend warriors may benefit from arnica, they should not use it routinely in lieu of adequate training and stretching; overuse of arnica can cause it to lose its effectiveness or cause side effects such as pain and soreness.
It may help prevent and ease the aches and pains of everyday life or from physical exertion. If any pain or injury seems serious, a medical practitioner should be consulted.
Arnica Ointment is an aqueous (light creamy) ointment containing approved cosmetic preservative to ensure stability. It is well proven and suitable for all age groups and most skin types.
