Cardamom essential oil is sweet and warm, with a rich aroma. In traditional Ayurvedic therapies, the spice was used in preparations to assist the body through a virus and to aid in digestive complaints.

It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to apply to the stomach and ease cramps and indigestion. In a diffuser, it is used to boost and awaken the mind and support the body when recovering from illness.

Cardamom has a warm, spicy but sweet aroma and blends well with exotic floral oils such as Neroli & Ylang Ylang and with other spice-based oils such as Ginger and Coriander.

Tisserand Ethically Harvested Cardamom Essential Oil - 9ml.

Massage: Add 5 drops of essential oil to 10ml of blending oil.

Bath: Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20ml of blending oil & swirl into water.

Vaporising: Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser or burner.
