Tisserand Ethically Harvested Vetiver Essential Oil is woody and earthy with a grassy aroma.
In its native countries of India and Nepal, Vetiver is used in an abundance of ways, including household products, food and drink.
Essential oil is extracted from the roots of the plant which grow in strong, intricate systems under the earth. Steam distillation releases a thick, earthy fragranced oil, known as the oil of tranquillity.
It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) and is said to help reduce inflammation and infections and can be used to combat insomnia. Used in a diffuser, it can help soothe and unwind the body and mind.
Vetiver has a grassy, woody aroma and blends well with Neroli, Sweet Orange, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Lemongrass.
