The origin of Grapefruit is a mystery. Most likely the grapefruit is a genetic blend of the pumelo fruit and the sweet orange; giving it a wonderfully sharp, citrus aroma unlike any other.

It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to help stimulate kidney function and help with fluid retention. Used in a diffuser, the sharp aromas help improve mental clarity, sharpen concentration and boost self-confidence.

Grapefruit is bright and zesty and blends well with Orange, Frankincense and Lemon Tea Tree.

Massage: Add 5 drops of essential oil to 10ml of blending oil.

Bath: Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20ml of blending oil & swirl into water.

Vaporising: Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser or burner.
