Instructions for Hot Water Bottle Use:

1. When filling the hot water bottle, do not use boiling water and fill to a maximum of two-thirds capacity or less.
2. Do not overfill as this might cause the hot water bottle to burst.
3. Hold the hot water bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back.
4. Expel air from the bottle by lowering it carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening.
5. Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure that there is no leakage. Finger tight should be adequate, however always check that stopper is secure before use. Finally make sure the funnel is empty.

• Store in a clean and dry environment but not against direct heat.

• Outer: 100% polyester.
• Reverse: 100% polyester.
• The elastic strap ensures a secure and comfortable fit.
• Only clean with a damp sponge, do not immerse in water.
• Avoid keeping in direct sunlight as eye mask may fade.
• Store in a clean and dry environment.

Warnings:

• Hot water bottles can cause burns. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin.
• This hot water bottle is made of PVC.
• Do allow boiled water to cool sufficiently before filling the hot water bottle.
• Do not fill using water from the domestic hot water system as this can considerably shorten the life of the hot water bottle.
• When not in use, drain completely to remove all water and keep, with the stopper removed, in a cool, dry, dark place. Prevent exposure to sunlight.
• Do not place anything on top of the hot water bottle during storage.
• Check the hot water bottle and stopper for wear and damage prior to use.
• If the hot water bottle or stopper becomes damaged do not use.
• Only use the stopper provided with this hot water bottle, using another stopper could potentially compromise the bottle`s integrity.
• If the cover becomes damaged do not use.
• Ensure that the opening on the cover is securely fastened before use.
• Do not let the hot water bottle come into direct contact with the skin whilst hot.
• Under no circumstances should the hot water bottle be used as a cushion and be sat on.
• To prevent children overheating, hot water bottles should not be used by children under 36 months.
• Do not use with infants or persons insensitive to heat (remember that over-tiredness, certain medicines, alcohol and illness can impair sensitivity to heat).
• For children, only use under adult supervision and with cooler water.
• Store out of reach of children. Small parts represent a choking hazard.
• Prevent contact with hot surfaces.
• Prevent contact with oil or grease.
