Description

OrganiCup provides a safe, hygienic and leak-free period. Can sit for up to 12 hours which means it only needs to be emptied morning and evening. Cup A is recommended for those who have not given birth vaginally. It`s made from soft 100% medical grade silicone, meaning it`s free from bleach, glue, perfume and chlorine which means a chemical free body.

OrganiCup provides a safe, hygienic and leak-free period. Can sit for up to 12 hours which means it only needs to be emptied morning and evening. OrganiCup helps to eliminate irritation and dryness and will ensure a natural PH balance is kept.

This can be seen as overgeneralised, which Organicup understand. The vagina is 100% unique to everyone, so it’s never a one size fits all product. You may not notice a difference after having given birth vaginally, but things have changed and your vagina will probably not return completely to its pre-birth shape and that is completely fine!

Therefore, Organicup have chosen pre- and post vaginal birth as the primary factor when guiding customers. Organicup recommend Size Mini for Teens, Size A for young cup users. You can actually start using a menstrual cup as soon as you get your period. For mums generally a size B, but if you have delivered your child/children by C section Organicup recommend a size A.

How to use the OrganiCup:

Contents

OrganiCup Menstrual Cup - Size A

Ingredients

Medical Grade Silicone.

Usage

Before first usage boil the cup for 3-5 min. Fold the cup and insert it into the vagina, when inserting keep it angled towards the tailbone. You can use a water based lubricant to make insertion easier.

When in place, try to pull the stem a bit. If you feel some resistance, the vacuum has been created and the cup has been placed successfully! Let the cup unfold inside the vagina and it creates a light vacuum to prevent leakage. Use the enclosed instructions for further information on inserting your OrganiCup.

If you find the stem uncomfortable after a couple of tries, you can cut it shorter. Some women remove the stem completely.

When it’s time to remove the cup, you should start by washing your hands and relax your pelvic floor muscles. Simply remove by breaking the vacuum by pinching the bottom of the cup. Take it out and empty the blood down the toilet. Public toilets are not a problem as you can wipe with tissue or OrganiWipes, then wash when you get home.

The OrganiCup is suitable to wear at night, it needs changing every 12 hours and there is no risk of leaking once the vacuum is formed with the vaginal walls. If you are new to menstrual cups we recommend emptying more frequently initially until your know your flow better.

I’ve only used for one period so far and I think I’m already a convert. I don’t want to speak to soon but this little cup is a game changer for me. Not sure why I had never heard of them before. It’s a bit fiddly for me at the moment to get into position but aside from this the rest of it has been pretty wash to get used to. It’s a work in progress but I’m excited that I found it. This cup particularly is comfortable but feels robust. I like that it’s a clear material. I had no leakage but I had read that it can take some tries to get it right which can result in leaks. I was fortunate enough to not have that. I love that they can be left in for 12 hours. I loved not having to regularly go and change it.

As menstrual cups come in several shapes and sizes, together with the fact that every woman is different, it's hard to say that this is a perfect cup for you. In my experience, this was my first menstrual cup. Maybe I was lucky, but it has so far been really really good. It's a medium firmness (but probably more on the softer side) and is of excellent quality. I'm pretty small down there and even though it felt 'crushed' when inside (i.e. slightly flattened on one side), I didn't leak at all. Loved the packaging too as it was light on wastage. If you're looking for a first cup then this is a great one to start with.

First time ever trying a menstrual cup and I could’ve have been more happier. Good explanation and very easy to use. Such a good product my only regret is that I haven’t discovered it earlier but I don’t think I will ever be using tampons or pads. So comfortable.

purchased this a few weeks back and been waiting to try it. I read a lot of reviews and watched videos that said it could take a few periods to get the hang of to it. i'm really surprised that I spent 15 minutes trying to get the hang of it and boom done!! doesn't feel uncomfortable at all and feel like i know what i'm doing now. so good so far!!

I found the OrganiCup while looking for a replacement for a lost Mooncup. By comparison, the Organicup is a little softer and as a result much easier to insert and remove. The stem is rounded on the end with bigger ridges so easy to grab on to. I'd recommend this for new and experienced users alike, particularly those on the smaller side (by comparison I'd have bought a B size Mooncup which is a little snug on reflection). No leaks, even after 10-12 hours, and much less period pain than with tampons. Very happy customer :)

Wish I’d know about these twenty years ago! A bit fiddly at first. Watched a few videos and read up online. Emptied the cup every four hours and it wasn’t even full. No leaks. This will save me a fortune.

would definitely recommend using this cup to everyone and wish I had discovered it sooner. It's easy to use. I did also buy some cloth sanitary pad just in case the cup leaked, but it hasn't and I've had no issues.

The experience is close to using tampons. You cannot trust it 100%. But good for using on the beach or swimming pool when you have periods. Good for night time. You should have normal pad as well.
It does leak. Does not last 12 hours. Changing in public toilet is not comfortable if you cannot wash hands straight away. Don't like the idea about same size for all. The cord is too short. Tampons are more usable in this way.

I'm now two cycles in and have found this easier than I would've originally thought. Still carrying a tampon or two on me though, maybe because I think day one may come early while I'm in work and a tampon is still a more convenient size to take into work rather than Organicup in pouch.

No smell, no more waste, no worry about leaks! For the first time I was kinda looking forward to having my period. I used it for one cycle only but I don't consider going back to pads. Highly recommended!
