OrganiCup provides a safe, hygienic and leak-free period. Can sit for up to 12 hours which means it only needs to be emptied morning and evening. Cup B is recommended for those who have given birth vaginally. It`s made from soft 100% medical grade silicone, meaning it`s free from bleach, glue, perfume and chlorine which means a chemical free body.

OrganiCup provides a safe, hygienic and leak-free period. Can sit for up to 12 hours which means it only needs to be emptied morning and evening. Organicup helps to eliminate irritation and dryness and will ensure a natural PH balance is kept.

This can be seen as overgeneralised, which Organicup understand. The vagina is 100% unique to everyone, so it’s never a one size fits all product. You may not notice a difference after having given birth vaginally, but things have changed and your vagina will probably not return completely to its pre-birth shape and that is completely fine!

Therefore, Organicup have chosen pre- and post vaginal birth as the primary factor when guiding customers, Organicup recommend Size Mini for Teens, Size A for young cup users. You can actually start using a menstrual cup as soon as you get your period. For mums generally a size B, but if you have delivered your child/children by C section Organicup recommend a size A.

How to use the OrganiCup:

OrganiCup Menstrual Cup - Size B

Medical Grade Silicone.

Before first usage boil the cup for 3-5 min. Fold the cup and insert it into the vagina, when inserting keep it angled towards the tailbone. You can use a water based lubricant to make insertion easier.

When in place, try to pull the stem a bit. If you feel some resistance, the vacuum has been created and the cup has been placed successfully! Let the cup unfold inside the vagina and it creates a light vacuum to prevent leakage. Use the enclosed instructions for further information on inserting your OrganiCup.

If you find the stem uncomfortable after a couple of tries, you can cut it shorter. Some women remove the stem completely.

When it’s time to remove the cup, you should start by washing your hands and relax your pelvic floor muscles. Simply remove by breaking the vacuum by pinching the bottom of the cup. Take it out and empty the blood down the toilet. Public toilets are not a problem as you can wipe with tissue or OrganiWipes, then wash when you get home.

The OrganiCup is suitable to wear at night, it needs changing every 12 hours and there is no risk of leaking once the vacuum is formed with the vaginal walls. If you are new to menstrual cups we recommend emptying more frequently initially until your know your flow better.

I have only used it for one period so far, and it leaked pretty badly all the time. I have used different brands of menstrual cups before, which didn't work very well, and I had high hopes for this one, but it seems like I'm still on the learning curve.

I watched lots of videos and read instructions carefully, and I'm currently out of ideas on what I could do differently. I might contact the company and see if they can advise on what I could do so that the cup doesn't leak.

Another problem was that I found it almost impossible to pee in the beginning while wearing the cup, but this got better in the subsequent couple of days.

I have yet to get used to the product after having used CSP for a couple of years now which I love. I bought size A for my teenage daughter as well and she's definitely not ready to try it yet. I struggle with feeling it all the time, I'm constantly aware of it. Maybe it just needs more practice, maybe it's not for me. But the product itself is just as I would expect and seems good quality enough.
