Bulking agent: rice bran; capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (carrageenan)*; L-5-hydroxytryptophan, niacin (as nicotinamide), zinc citrate, pyridoxal-5-phosphate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate*; folic acid, biotin.

*(vegetarian source).

Dosage Guide:

Adults: Take 1 - 2 capsules a day, preferably before bed, with a carbohydrate snack.

Children over 8 years: Take 1 capsule every day, preferably before bed, with a carbohydrate snack.

Children over 5 years: Take 1 capsule every alternate day, preferably before bed, with a carbohydrate snack.

Contraindication:

Not advisable if pregnant or taking fenfluramin.

Can cause drowsiness; do not drive or operate machinery if affected.

In a very few cases gastro-intestinal discomfort can occur, which usually disappears by reducing the intake.

Not to be used when taking MAO inhibitors, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), or other anti-depressant medications. It should also not be used by individuals taking any of the category of medications known as "triptans".
