Cistus incanus is commonly referred to as ‘Gray-haired Rock Rose’ and is also known as Labdanum. It is extracted from a shrub native to warm, southern Mediterranean locations such as Greece. It is a rich source of polyphenols, proanthocyanidins, bioflavonoids, catechines, gallic acid, and rutin. Cistus incanus is traditionally used to support mucous membranes and the respiratory tract.
