LAMBERTS Acidophilus Extra 10, is one of the UK`s strongest probiotics. Each capsule contains 10 billion friendly bacteria (at the time of manufacture) with the advantage that only one capsule per day needs to be taken.
The bacteria in Acidophilus Extra 10 are freeze dried with an acid stable polysaccharide matrix which surrounds the bacteria, helping to protect them from the highly acidic conditions they encounter in the stomach. Whilst our Acidophilus Extra 10 is stable at room temperature, to ensure maximum potency, we store it in refrigerated conditions until despatch. We also include a desiccant lining in every pot since moisture is known to be a main factor in spoiling viability.

Take 1 capsule daily with a glass of milk or water or with a meal. Do not swallow capsules with hot drinks; heat kills bacteria. Take at least 2 hours after antibiotic medication.

This is my third purchase and I am sure this makes all the difference to the proper functionnning of my digestive system. My Fibromyalgia therapist recommended these as part of various changes in my diet and lifestyle to improve my symptoms and I think this has had a greater impact on my symptoms of IBS than I expected (even though I do not have IBS, fibromyalgia mimics symptoms of a number of conditions, including IBS)So all good and I would recommend!
