ProVen Probiotics Baby Probiotic for Formula-Fed Babies has been developed specifically for newborn babies up to 12 months of age. It contains friendly bacteria which naturally form part of the population of microflora population of infants.

It is now recognised that healthy bacteria are just as important to the newborn baby as to adults and that the establishment of a robust population of friendly microflora as soon after birth as possible is critical in driving the development of a healthy immune and intestinal function. However, it is now acknowledged that modern living conditions, particularly for the newborn baby, may inhibit or slow down the natural development of the normal flora, and that this process needs a boost` to help intestinal and immune health.

As a food supplement using the scoop provided, add one heaped scoop per day (1.1g) to formula milk once it has been made up and allowed to cool. Shake well. Do not add to hot milk.
