Bio Health Periagna Agnus Castus Fruit is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to help relieve premenstrual symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, breast tenderness, bloating and menstrual cramps.

Agnus castus also supports hormonal balance, which can be pivotal during menopause.

Agnus castus contains several constituents, including flavonoids, iridoid glycosides, and terpenoids. The whole fruit extract, rather than one of its individual constituents, appears to be necessary for the activity of agnus castus.

Bio Health Periagna Agnus Castus Fruit - 60 x 400mg Capsules

The capsule shell is made from hypromellose. The capsules are hard, clear, oblong and contain a dark brown powder.

Take one capsule twice daily swallowed with water.

Maximum daily dose two capsules.

Contraindications:

Do not take if:

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients
• You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• You are under 18 years of age.
• You have a history of, or are suffering from a current pituitary disorder.

Side effects may include minor stomach upset and a mild skin rash with itching.

Agnus castus is not recommended for use during pregnancy and should not be used concurrently with hormone therapy (eg oestrogen, progesterone).
