Viridian Boswellia Serrata is a tree found in India, North Africa, and the Middle East. Strips of bark are peeled away, yielding a gummy oleo-resin that contains oils, terpenoids, and gum. The gum resin from Boswellia has been used extensively in Ayurvedic culture for a variety of ailments.

Boswellia serrata resin extract (65% boswellic acids), Vegetarian cellulose (HPMC*) capsule (*hypromellose), In a base of alfalfa, spirulina and bilberry.
Each vegicap now contains 270mg Boswellia extract @ 65% boswellic acid. The old formula for each capsule was 880mg @ 20% boswellia acid. The potency of each capsule remains unchanged.

I purchased these as I realised that the active ingredient that reduced muscle pain in my previous capsules was not totally due to the turmeric content. Yes, efficacious but you do need to build it up.

Purchased two bottles and used one over the course of two weeks during a persistent acute gout attack of the knee. It definitely helped stretch out the conventional pain killers as less NSAIDs and colchicine were needed though from experience it is a slow burner and takes two weeks to work maximally so probably more suited to ambulatory pain of Osteoarthritis rather than a gout flare.I was combining with tumeric as well. Would definitely recommend for modulation of the immune response and I am relieved that the joint did not go septic.A little pricey but much safer to be taking than diclofenac over two weeks

Very good product. Used it for inflamation. Not instantaneous but have to build up. Good for arthritic pain. No side effects as such. I have used it for a while now
