BioCare Evening Primrose Oil is a high potency capsule formula containing more than 1000mg of evening primrose oil as a source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA).

Evening primrose oil has been used traditionally by the North American Indians and early European settlers for a variety of conditions. GLA is an omega-6 essential fatty used as a precursor to eicosanoids, which are hormone-like substances involved in many metabolic processes. GLA is utilised in the formation of cell membranes and is converted in the body to prostaglandin PGE1, which is an essential biochemical process.

A high potency source of GLA providing 9.5% per capsule.
GLA may support joint mobility, skin and a balanced immune response.
GLA may support hormonal balance, especially when pre-menstrual.
Contains antioxidant vitamin E to improve stability.

Evening Primrose Oil, Capsule Shell (Modified Maize Starch, Glycerol, Gelling Agent [Carrageenan], Acidity Regulator [Sodium Carbonate]), Vitamin E (as DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), Triglcyerides, Sunflower Lecithin.

BioCare Evening Primrose Oil - 30 Vegicaps

I bought this product hoping to relieve a breast pain which I usually have half of my menstrual cycle. I started using it right after period. I used 1 capsule a day as it was recommended on the packaging, for 1 month. The breast became larger just as always, only it almost stopped being so sore! So product seemed to help. I am going to use it for 3 month, as it was recommended on one of the websites. The product was delivered promptly, as always. So I am a happy customer.
