Viridian Organic Omega 3:6:9 Oil is a unique combination of Hemp, flax, evening primrose, Avocado and Pumpkin seed oils. It is ideal nutritional oil for everyday use by the whole family. Contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA) , small amount of omega-9, a broad range of potent antioxidants including vitamin E (full spectrum of tocopherols and tocotrienols) and carotenoids (alpha-carotene, beta carotene and lutein). Pleasant tasting. Can be drissled over the top of cooked foods, added to soups or as a dressing for raw salads.

Hemp Seed Oil – Omega 3 and 6

Hemp seed has served as a primary famine food in China, Australia, and Europe as recently as World War 11. Hemp seeds weight in oil is 30-35% which consists of 80% unsaturated EFAs linoleic acid (omega 6) and linolenic acid (omega 3). The 80% EFAs in hemp-seed oil is the highest total percentage among the common plants used by man. Flax comes a close second at 72% EFAs. The supreme nutritional benefits of hemp seed oil are mainly due to the perfect ratio of Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Flax Seed Oil (linseed oil) – Omega 3

Flax Seed oil (linseed oil) is one of nature`s richest sources of lignans and a vegan method for getting Omega-3 fatty acids. It is an ideal vegetarian alternative to fish oil supplements.

Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil – Omega 6 and 9

Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil is rich in Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids and a source of zinc and carotenoids. Pumpkin seeds are a rich source of essential fatty acids. The four dominant fatty acids are Palmitic, Stearic, Oleic, and linoleic acid. Analysis of the powerful pigments found in pumpkin seed oil reveals a number of carotenoids - the main components being beta carotene and lutein.

Avocado Oil – Vitamin E

Avocados are the highest fruit source of vitamin E. Vitamin E is known to support the ageing process and promote cardiovascular health by neutralising free radicals.
