Suggested Use:
It may take up to three cycles to get used to using the Mooncup
The base of the cup should sit as low as possible in the vagina
Always wash your hands before inserting and removing the Mooncup
When inserting, fold the Mooncup and insert the Mooncup by parting the labia and place the cup as low down in the vagina as it will be comfortable sitting (lower down than a tampon)
To remove, gently squeeze the bottom of the cup to release the seal then slide the cup out
Empty the contents into the toilet every four to eight hours

Contraindications:
Always wash hands with soap, before and after handling your Mooncup
Upon first use and deep cleaning immerse Mooncup in boiling water with sterilising solution/tablets for five to seven minutes
Wash with water, or mild, non-perfumed soap
Always rinse the Mooncup with water after using soaps as any traces left on the Mooncup may cause irritation
When changing in a public bathroom, try to take a small bottle of water into the toilet cubicle with you to rinse the Mooncup or wipe with tissue
Do not clean the Mooncup in a microwave
Do not clean the Mooncup in a dishwasher
Do not clean the holes of the Mooncup with a pin
Store your Mooncup in the breathable cotton bag provided

How does the Mooncup Beginner differ from the Mooncup Original?
The Mooncup Beginner is made from softer silicone and is more flexible, with seven ways of insertion vs two ways of insertion for the Mooncup Original.
The rim is also softer, which is less daunting for first time users.
Finally, the Beginner has a pebble pull at the base, so there is no need to trim the stem as you would with the Original.
