Panda`s famous, wonderfully soft and tasty liquorice is prepared using a conventional cooking method.
This method involves raw, natural materials being boiled into dough before being compressed into their final form - in accordance with Väinö Hilden (the liquorice master) and his legendary recipe.
Panda were formed in 1921, but liquorice production only began in 1927 in Vaajakoski, western Finland - thus giving them ample time to perfect their liquorice formula. To this day, Panda liquorice is firmly seated in the market leader position for liquorice products.
