Suggested use:
You can use the Mooncup Cleaning Pot in three ways:
In the microwave:
Rinse your Mooncup and add 50ml of water to the cleaning pot. Place the lid loosely on the pot and microwave for three minutes at 750-900 watts. Allow to stand in the microwave for 10 minutes. Remove using oven gloves and allow to cool fully.
With sterilising solution:
Wash your Mooncup with soap and water. Fill the pot with sterilising solution according to the manufacturing guide. Fully immerse your Mooncup in the pot, soak for the recommended time and then rinse with water.
On the go:
Half-fill the cleaning pot with water. Place your Mooncup inside, secure lid firmly and shake gently. Remove your Mooncup and pour the contents of you cleaning pot into the toilet.
Warning:
When using the cleaning pot in the microwave or with boiling water, allow to cool before handling
How does the Mooncup Beginner differ from the Mooncup Original?
The Mooncup Beginner is made from softer silicone and is more flexible, with seven ways of insertion vs two ways of insertion for the Mooncup Original.
The rim is also softer, which is less daunting for first time users.
Finally, the Beginner has a pebble pull at the base, so there is no need to trim the stem as you would with the Original.

Can I use my Mooncup Cleaning Pot to store my Mooncup>
No, the Mooncup cleaning pot should not be used to store your Mooncup. When you’re finished with your Mooncup cleaning pot, clean and dry thoroughly and fold back down to its compact form. Your Mooncup should be stored in the organic cotton drawstring bag.
