SELFCheck Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) Kit is a simple way to check for colon polyps, with a reliable result at home in ten minutes, to detect whether you may be at risk of developing bowel cancer. 

The test only requires a small stool sample and uses the faecal immunochemical test method to give an easy-to-read visual result. It is a type of test used in NHS bowel cancer screening programmes as a reliable way to check for early stages of bowel cancer. The test uses specific monoclonal antibodies to detect only human haemoglobin.

It is crucial to understand that traces of blood may be present for other reasons than colon polyps. In response, SELFCheck has designed the tests with a cut-off for screening people who show no symptoms.
