Pro-Ven Biotics For Pregnancy Plus provides a high intake of vitamins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and other vital nutrients, essential for expectant mothers. 

The supplement provides 30 capsules containing 10 billion Pro-Ven Biotics friendly bacteria plus essential vitamins and minerals each, and 30 soft gels containing 200mg DHA omega-3 fatty acid each. 

Omega-3 DHA supports normal brain and eye development in the foetus and breastfed infants. 

Folic acid supports maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and helps increase red blood cell folate levels. Insufficient maternal red blood cell folate can increase the risk of developmental defects in the fetus. The UK Department of Health recommends folic acid and vitamin D supplements during pregnancy, along with iron, vitamin C, and calcium.
