Viridian L-carnitine is an amino acid, made from amino acids lysine and methionine, vitamin C, B3, B6, and iron. It then helps you to build protein within your body. 

L-carnitine is made in your liver and kidneys and stored in your skeletal muscles, heart, brain and sperm. It is needed to release energy from fat and to support good cardiovascular and circulatory health.

During infancy and in periods of increased energy demand, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, your body's production of l-carnitine may not be sufficient to meet your needs. As a result, l-carnitine is classified as a 'conditionally essential' nutrient.
