Pharma Nord Vitamin D3 5000 IU is a pure vitamin D3 supplement dissolved in cold-pressed organic olive oil to enhance absorption.

Vitamin D is often referred to as 'the sunshine vitamin' as it is naturally produced under your skin following exposure to sunlight. During winter, your body can't make vitamin D from sunlight because the sun is too low in the sky. As it's also difficult to get enough vitamin D from food, Public Health England recommends taking a vitamin D supplement.

Vitamin D supports your body's immune system and helps maintain healthy muscles, nerves, teeth and bones.

Suggested Usage:

After 10 years of taking this I am still so pleased with this product.
Just a pity that the number in a pack has been reduced from 40 to 30! Still I suppose that is inflation!

Company appears to have good reputation for its supplements. Wanted higher dose for this vitamin. Would really need to have levels tested to see if this is making a difference.

This is my second pack and I think I can truly say I have more vim and vigour when taking them, likely S.A.D. but will also be taking during the summer months as I`ve discover that by using sunscreen my vit D absorption will be reduced.
The price point is good for the quality, especially as it gets cheaper the more packets you buy. The pricing has become even more important as now there are 4 of us taking this vit D.
Also the size of the capsules are quite small so even those who have an aversion to taking things in tablet form should find a way of doing so without too much difficulty.
The only reason why I scored it as a 4 is if you simply want vitamin D and are not fussed about the quality or the ingredients then there are cheaper products out there but if you want something in a purer form this is what you should go for.
