Balmonds Cooling Cream is a light and cooling moisturising lotion.

The natural shea butter cream is rich in skin-kind lavender, calendula and chamomile. It is formulated with cool menthol and soothing aloe vera for a cooling effect on flushed or dehydrated skin.

Nutritious hemp and shea butter also offer skin barrier support, keeping your skin moisturised and soft after sun exposure.

Use anywhere on your body to refresh, moisturise and condition your skin with botanical ingredients.

Suggested Use:

Apply gently to clean, dry skin as often and as generously as needed, especially after sun exposure or when your skin is hot and bothered

Contraindications:

Patch test on an unaffected area close to the affected area and leave for 24 hours

Because this product contains menthol, it's not suitable for use on children under three years old

Should you do a patch test before using Balmonds products?

Even if you don’t have allergy-prone or sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis or rosacea, it’s important to patch test first. If your skin is at all sensitive, then a patch test is vital. We advise a patch test in the crook of the elbow or behind your ear for 24 hours before using the product more widely.

Can you use Balmonds products on your face?

Yes, all Balmonds products are suitable for use on the face and indeed, anywhere on the body.

Balmonds Intensive Hand Cream makes a fantastic face cream, as it’s ultra-rich, soft and nutritious.

Are Balmonds products tested on animals?

Balmonds products, nor their ingredients have been tested on animals.

Skin Salvation and Tea Tree Balm contain locally-produced beeswax and are therefore not suitable for vegans. However, all other Balmonds products are entirely free from any animal ingredients or derivatives. They do not contain cow’s milk, egg or fish, animal-derived glycerin, keratin, lanolin, tallow, or shellfish.

Are Balmonds products safe to use in pregnancy?

Yes, all Balmonds products can be used throughout your pregnancy.

As with any skincare product that you're using for the first time, carry out a patch test in the crook of the elbow or behind your ear for 24 hours before using more widely. just to check that you're not sensitive to the few gentle, natural ingredients in Balmonds products.
