Apply cream to freshly washed and towel-dried hands as often and as generously as needed

Apply the emollient gently to reduce the risk of further skin irritation or damage, and try not to rub the skin
The first time you use it, you’ll need several pumps to release the air and begin to dispense the cream. Discard the small amount that collects in the nozzle between applications (it’s not dangerous, but exposure to the air can affect the appearance and the texture of the cream)

Should you do a patch test before using Balmonds products?
Even if you don’t have allergy-prone or sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis or rosacea, it’s important to patch test first. If your skin is at all sensitive, then a patch test is vital. We advise a patch test in the crook of the elbow or behind your ear for 24 hours before using the product more widely.
Can you use Balmonds products on your face?
Yes, all Balmonds products are suitable for use on the face and indeed, anywhere on the body.
Balmonds products, nor their ingredients have been tested on animals.
Skin Salvation and Tea Tree Balm contain locally-produced beeswax and are therefore not suitable for vegans. However, all other Balmonds products are entirely free from any animal ingredients or derivatives. They do not contain cow’s milk, egg or fish, animal-derived glycerin, keratin, lanolin, tallow, or shellfish.
Are Balmonds products safe to use in pregnancy?
Yes, all Balmonds products can be used throughout your pregnancy.
As with any skincare product that you're using for the first time, carry out a patch test in the crook of the elbow or behind your ear for 24 hours before using more widely. just to check that you're not sensitive to the few gentle, natural ingredients in Balmonds products.
