Ingredients
- 250g chickpeas (peeled, boiled and strained)
- 6-7 dates
- 150g nuts or seeds of your choice (almonds, walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and flaxseeds all work well)
- 1 x tbsp of honey or agave syrup
- 2 x drops of vanilla extract
- 3 x tbsp raw cacao powder
- 60-120ml of almond milk (or any plant milk you prefer)
- 1 x Green Child Vitamin D3 (powder contents)
- Ground nuts, cacao or coconut for coating/decoration
Method
- Combine the chickpeas, dates, nuts or seeds and raw cacao in a blender until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Add the coconut oil, honey or agave syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk and the content of the Green Child Vitamin D3 capsule. Blend until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls with your hands.
- Decorate the balls by rolling them in ground nuts, cacao or coconut.
- Enjoy!
- Remember you can store them in the fridge for up to one week too.
