This five-minute, vegan-friendly, gluten-free tiramisu porridge offers a luxurious blend of rich flavours and textures, combining health-conscious ingredients for a quick, energising breakfast that feels indulgent, yet is entirely guilt-free.
Oats: A heart-healthy choice
Oats are a fantastic source of soluble fibre, particularly beta-glucan, which has been shown to reduce cholesterol levels and promote heart health.
Using gluten-free oats makes this dish accessible if you have gluten sensitivity, ensuring everyone can enjoy its benefits without compromise.
Plant-Based Milk and Toppings: Dairy-free delights
Many plant-based milks are fortified with calcium and vitamin D, crucial for bone health. Oat milk, in particular, provides a creamy texture and subtle sweetness that enhances the porridge.
Ingredients like coconut cream and dark chocolate offer healthy fats that are essential for brain health and can help keep you satiated.
Espresso Powder: Energy boost
Espresso powder not only adds a unique flavour but also provides antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress in your body. The caffeine content can help boost your metabolism, making this a great breakfast option to start your day energetically.
